On behalf of the European College of Veterinary Neurology (ECVN) and its associated society (ESVN) I would like to inform you about the opportunity to attend the two-day Veterinary Advanced Diagnostic Imaging course that will be held in Bologna (Italy) on 21st and 22nd July 2018 as preliminary event to the Veterinary Neuroscience Advanced Course (Brain camp).

 

Target

Residents (ECVDI, ACVR, ECVN, ACVIM–neurology), Radiologists and Radiology technicians involved in veterinary diagnostic imaging, veterinary surgeons with specific interest in veterinary diagnostic Imaging.

 

Program overview

This course will provide participants comprehensive teaching on magnetic resonance imaging of nervous system in veterinary patients. Topics covered will include MR physics, the basis of forming an MR image, instrumentation, MR safety, MRI features of various intracranial and spinal disorders, and functional MRI. Basic knowledge of  MRI physics is expected before initiating the course.
